When you use the app, we collect your phone number, the number you choose to submit, a short reason for why you’re submitting them (like “crush,” “ex,” or “unfinished”), and the time of submission. We use this information to keep the app working as it’s supposed to — like making sure submissions follow the time limits and that notifications are sent when needed.

Internal Usage Info

We also keep track of some basic internal usage info, like how often certain features are used, how many submissions are made, and general trends. This helps us improve the app and keep things running smoothly — but we never sell or share your data, and we don’t track you personally.

Age Requirement

You must be 18 or older to use Run It Back. The app is not meant for minors, and we don’t knowingly collect or store information from anyone under 18.

Payments & Add-ons

If you choose to unlock extra features (like a second submission, an anonymous check, or passive alerts), your payment will be processed through trusted third-party services like Stripe or Google Pay. We never store your card info or see your full payment details.

Anonymity & Matching

Everything you do inside Run It Back stays private. The number you submit is never shown to anyone unless both people submit each other. Even then, we don’t reveal who submitted first, when it happened, or why. The person you submit doesn’t get any notification unless there’s a mutual match — or unless you’ve unlocked specific features that notify you of anonymous activity.

Leaving the App

You can delete your app or stop using it at any time. Since we don’t ask for your name, email, or any identifying personal details beyond your phone number, there’s no lingering profile or social feed. When you’re done, you’re gone.
